Sliabh Liag is Ireland’s ultimate sea cliff experience and a signature point on the Wild Atlantic Way coastal touring route. Located in the Gaeltacht region of County Donegal, Sliabh Liag are the highest accessible sea cliffs in Europe where the cliff face of Bunglas rises over 600m above the ocean below.
We have a host of events for you to choose from:
5km Uphill Challenge, 500m+ elevation gain
13km Run/Hike, 530m+ elevation gain
25km Run/Hike, 1,000m+ elevation gain
50km Run/Hike, 2,000m+ elevation gain

An amazing run on Ireland’s most Iconic landscape, starting at sea level and running up the Pilgrims path to nearly 600m on the towering cliffs.

The Sliabh Liag 25km and 50km races are part of the Ultra Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB) Index Race system. UTMB Index races contribute towards every Finishers UTMB Index in the corresponding category (20K, 50K, 100K or 100M) and gives privileged access to the UTMB World Series Events.
